Mainstream media in Raila quest for president.
Media is one of the significant medium in campaigns to every candidate. Media help in reaching people and spreading positive message thus boasting public image and subsequently bucketing votes. It's worth noting there has been complaint that someone mainstream media house are favouring some candidates.
Raila Odinga seems to have support from royal media. Firstly it's worth noting the chaimain of the media has been accompanying the ODM leader in various occasions this 2021. He accoumpanied him in Muranga during the celebration skiza tune increased revenues to artists, accompanied him in a church service in Kigumo, Muranga county, accompanied him in Nairobi event in a hotel and the following day he accompanied him in Isiolo where a Borana station was announced to be on air in 3 week times. Most of this events has been happening live on the T.v. However, other candidates are still getting covered as well but to be specific there has been outcry from other camps on limited and biasness.
The camp UDA has been fighting to equal coverage. They complained during the Kiambaa MNA by-election where media was used vigously.
Most of the forefront candidates have resorted and banked on social media like Facebook and Twitter as form of campaigns tools where they are covering their events live on Facebook.
Media is key in vote hunting in Kenya considering that many people are owning the T.v sets, radios and Phones.
